detailed description of my work, discography, participation in competitions etc | 1941 (June, 23); was born in Bryansk, Russia, in the family of musicians; from 6 years of age began to study violin, his mother Alexandra Vasilievna Belodubrovskaya being his first teacher.
1954: studied at the Special Ten-Year Music School under the charge of the Leningrad Conservatory, Prof. V.I. Sher's group (Violin), then S.Y. Volfenson's group (Composition).
1960: studied at the Leningrad Conservatory, Prof. V.I. Sher's and M.M. Komissarov's groups (Violin, 1965), then Pror. O.A. Yevlakhov's group (Composition, 1966).
1965: began to work as a soloist of the Bryansk Philharmonic, leader and participant of the String Quartet and the Piano Trio, teacher at the Music College.
1972: became a member of the Composers Union of Russia.
1984: received the degree of the Distinguished Culture Worker of Russia.
1986: became the organizer and creative leader of the annual N. Roslavets and N. Gabo Festival of Contemporary Art.
1988-1989: was the organizer and participant of the concerts of Roslavets music in Moscow, author of the articles devoted to life and creative work of N.Roslavets published in the journals Soviet Music, Musical Life (Moscow).
1991-1999: took part in the festivals of Contemporary Music as a composer and violinist, namely "Help to St. Petersburg" (Finland), "Moscow Autumn", "Alternative" (Moscow), "From Avantgarde till Present Days", "Sergei Oskolkov and His Friends", "A Week
of Gabriel Faure's Music" (St. Petersburg), "Concerts of New Music" (New York).
1997-1999: developed concert activity as a composer and violinist in Germany and Switzerland; was the compiler and one of the authors of the book "Russian Avantgarde and Bryanshchina" (1998). Violin repertoire includes sonatas and violin miniatures by
Bach, Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Wagner, Brahms, Tchaikovski, Mussorgsky, Lulli, Boccherini, Svendsen, Dancla, Godovsky, Fibikh, Faure, Debussy, Kreisler, Sarasate, Monti, Gershwin, Ponce, Honegger, Milhaud, Poulenc,
Copland,Hindemith, Bartok, Webern, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Roslavets, Lourie, Penderecki, Xenakis, Schnitke, Firtich, Oskolkov, Belodubrovsky. Principal compositions: Violin Concert; cantatas "You Are in the Heart, Fatherland", "You Burn invisible Flame" (lyrics by 0. Sedakova); chorus suites and choruses on the lyrics by Tutchev, Miezelailis, Verlaine, D. Andreyev, V.
